Co-founders Max and Trey met in college, and quickly discovered their families had something in common: unexpected property damage that led to a mountain of paperwork.
Brett’s water heater failed. Shaun’s dishwasher overflowed. The damage was manageable, but keeping track of receipts, documenting everything, and gathering the right information?
That was the real stressor.
It wasn’t about blaming anyone. It was about realizing how difficult it can be to find what you need, when you need it most.
That’s when the idea for Property Hero took shape:
